Whether it’s fact or fiction, the ongoing antics of Joaquin Phoenix are fun to watch. I almost consider them to be a guilty pleasure.
His latest freak out took place in Miami at the LIV nightclub at the Fontainebleau where Phoenix was “performing” his own brand of uni-bomber rap. The would-be music star got into a fight with a heckler in the audience, telling the man “I’ve got millions of dollars in my f**king bank account, what do you got?”
Joaquin then took a dive off of the stage, attacking the audience member, throwing punches while the rest of the audience chanted “Joaquin, Joaquin”, over and over. Joaquin was eventually lugged away by security at the club.
Sounds serious, eh? Oh, yeah, did I forget to mention that Casey Affleck was reportedly filming the whole thing? Hmmm.

Joaquin Phoenix is too deep for anyone to understand what he is doing with his career right now
You think so? I personally think it’s some kind of social experiment. I don’t really think he’s trying to become a “rapper”. I’d really like to see it be a study on the fact that once a celebrity reaches a certain level, anything they do will be popular.
If it is a total meltdown, it’s the best one I’ve seen so far.
