So, you would think that Amy Winehouse would be over the moon happy to actually have a singing gig, but it turns out that the soulless singer is as spacey as ever.

While performing “Valarie” in St. Lucia, Winehouse simply stopped singing, stared at the ground and then walked off the stage, no explanation or anything.

Later, a rep claimed “technical difficulties”, citing the rain as the problem. 

I’m thinking the technical difficulty was Winehouse herself.  

According to IMDB.com Megan Fox has decided that the best way to prove her intelligence is by ripping into another actress. 

In an Esquire magazine interview, Megan talks about her confidence in herself by dissing Scarlett Johansson in a typical “I don’t hate her, but….” mean girl statement.

“I don’t want to have to be like a Scarlett Johansson – who I have nothing against. But I don’t want to have to go on talk shows and pull out every single Sat word I’ve ever learned, to prove, like, ‘Take me seriously, I am intelligent, I can speak.’ I don’t want to have to do that. I resent having to prove that I’m not a retard.” 

Well, Megan, now that you’ve proven you aren’t a “retard” (btw, not at ALL offensive use of the word), you’ll spend the rest of your career proving you aren’t petty and bitchy.  

So, it seems that 50 Cent jumped the gun in his claim that eh has been cleared of suspicion of starting a fire that saw his mansion burn to the ground.

The rapper released a statement in which he says, “The police department and insurance investigators ruled that there is absolutely no proof or evidence suggesting that Curtis Jackson or any affiliated parties were involved. Curtis Jackson has just been cleared of all the accusations. The investigation will continue until the guilty party is found.”

Only thing is, Detective Thomas Wieland of the Suffolk County police says that the case is still under investigation.  The indication is that 50 wasn’t cleared of anything. 

Looks like Derek Hough may be following in his sister’s footsteps.  Julianne is rumored to be in the running for the lead role of the Footloose remake and now it seems that Derrick may be looking at a role in the musical as well.  

While Derrick admits that he “hasn’t auditioned yet”, he has said that he is in talks with some peeps involved in the project.

 We can only assume that he will not be trying out for the male lead.  Unless they moved the setting to the backwoods of Georgia. 

Kiefer Sutherland was charged with assault after the Met Costume party head butting incident in which he broke designer Jack McCollough’s nose.

A source said that McCollough even had to get his nose reset, while his rep does confirm that his nose was broken.

Sutherland turned himself in yesterday and was formally charged. His court date is June 22^nd

Target is teaming up with designer Anna Sui to develop a complete line of clothing based on the fashion forward TV show Gossip Girl.  The line will hit Target stores September 13, just in time for the new school year and will be available until October 17. 

I guess if your 15 year old wants to go for the higher end of slutty, she’s in luck. 

Jack McCollough, the designer who was head butted by Kiefer Sutherland released a statement about the incident.  Or, rather, his rep did:

“Anyone who knows Jack McCollough knows that he would not hurt a fly. All we can say at this point is that he was the victim of a vicious, violent, unprovoked assault and that the matter is in the hands of the authorities.” 

TMZ.com is reporting that Kiefer will be charged with misdemeanor assault for the incident.  Since the star is already on probation for a DUI charge, I wonder if jail time is once again in his future? 

Bristol Palin teamed up with Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere  to lay down the law to horny teens everywhere.  The two were part of a town hall meeting in New York on preventing teen pregnancy.

Palin was there to let teens know the reality of being a teen and popping out a kid , telling them that it was a 24 hour job for her nanny.

While I think it’s great that Bristol wants to help other teens avoid an unwanted pregnancy, I can’t help but wonder how her kid’s going to feel years down the road to know that her mom is doing her damndest to prevent teens from getting knocked up. I mean, with Sara Palin for a Grammy, the kid’s already going to have a big enough complex. 

Well, it would appear you don’t want to piss Kiefer Sutherland off.  Just ask designer Jack McCollough.

According to TMZ.com, at the recent Met Costume Gala party, rumor has it that McCollough knocked Brooke Shields over.  Kiefer demanded that McCollough apologize and when the designer refused, Kiefer head butted him, possibly breaking the designer’s nose.

And the reason that McCollough didn’t apologize? Well, according to Brooke Shield’s peeps, “Jack did nothing inappropriate. It’s not clear what caused Kiefer to do what he did.”

Shield’s is expected to be interviewed by the police about the incident.

Kinda makes you wonder how the whole rehab thing is going for Kiefer.  Maybe he should add anger management to his program?
