MTV Will Air Gone Too Far With DJ AM

MTV has just announced that they will air the Gone Too Far documentary series that DJ AM completed just three days before he died of an accidental overdose.

The doc series deals with young drug addicts and shows Adam Goldstein working with them and their families to overcome their addictions.

According to MTV, it is their wish that the eight-episode series will help others, saying in a statement, “It is our hope through airing this show that people will get to see the side of Adam that we knew and loved, not just the celebrity DJ, but the honest and caring person who gave so much of himself to help others.”

The first episode will premiere Monday, October 12.

Ahh, the very, very sad irony.
