Actor Woody Harrelson has a perfectly legitimate reason for attacking a cameraman on Tuesday:  he thought they guy was a zombie.

Woody flew into the paparazzo at La Guardia International airport on Tuesday.  The guy was following Woody and his daughter when Woody went on the defensive.  The actor was caught on film attacking the photog and smashing his equipment.

Harrelson released a statement yesterday, explaining the whole thing.

“I wrapped a movie called Zombieland, in which I was constantly under assault by zombies, then flew to New York, still very much in character. With my daughter at the airport, I was startled by a paparazzo, who I quite understandably mistook for a zombie.”   

Sure, Woody, it makes perfect sense to think that a zombie was attacking you.  After a day of writing about Lindsay Lohan, I quite often think she’s the snarky cashier at my local grocery store.
