Winning my vote for cutest celebrity couple is Katy Perry and Travis McCoy.

The two dated for a year and then split back in December after weeks of constant fighting. Well, it seems that the two are back together again. 

Travis says, “I keep thinking about if I had to go through it again and how s**tty it would be. We were moving way too fast. I was being juvenile about the entire thing. Now it’s easy breezy. I’m happy and really in love.”

Ah, too cute!

According to a perezhilton.com following, Katy Perry snarkily took aim at John Mayer during a recent concert in NYC.  Fan Bethany emailed Perez to tell him that Katy changed up some of the lyrics to UR So Gay:

“I’m so mean ’cause I cannot get you out of your head. I’m so angry ’cause you’d rather TWITTER instead. I can’t believe I fell in JOHN MAYER!”

Apparently the audience went wild.  Betcha it put a bit of a smile on Jennifer Aniston’s face, too.

Even though everybody and their dog (yes, even me) recently reported that Katy Perry and Josh Groban were romantically involved, a rep for Groban has put the kibosh on that rumor.

Luke Burland told people.com that “Josh and Katy are very close friends and hang out, but they are not a couple.”

Too bad.  I think they would have been cute together.

According to Perez Hilton, several different sources have informed him that Katy Perry and Josh Groban are dating! Now, at first I was kind of confused, as the two didn’t seem to be a match at all.  But then I remembered Groban’s hilarious musical medley at the Emmy’s last year and it makes perfect sense.  Despite his serious music, the guy does have a funny side.

A source told Perez, “They’ve been trying to keep it very low profile.”

Way to help them with that. 

It seems that Katy Perry had her high and low moments at the recent Brit Awards.  While she went home with an award, she left something unexpected back stage: her lunch.  And unlike most stars who toss their cookies at awards shows, Perry’s was not caused by excessive booze.

According to Perez Hilton, the “I kissed a girl” singer was feeling like crap, but attended the awards show anyway.  After receiving the award for best international female, she said her thank yous, walked off the stage and puked.

Instead of being embarrassed about it, she joked, in Katy Perry fashion, in a text to Perez, calling the incident, so “punk rock.”

She also blogged on her website about winning the award saying that she is “ SO happy… I’ve won a BRIT. That’s like being knighted practically! Maybe even better.”

The singer is currently spending a few days in bed recuperating.

I was more than a little disturbed by rumors that Katy Perry had been canoodling with Benji Madden over the week end and that the two might even be a new couple. I would have honestly lost a bit of respect for Katy, who seems so cool and above falling for wannabe rocker posers. Thankfully it has come to light that those rumors are false, with sources on both sides in denial.

From Katy’s camp: “Nothing romantic happened whatsoever. They were with a huge group and Katy said he isn’t her type.”

And a source close to Benji is backing this up saying “He has no interest in her whatsoever. Benji is very good friends with her ex-boyfriend, fellow musician Travis McCoy.”

And just to make sure things were crystal clear, Kat even blogged about it on her website:

“Oh kittens! It’s two pseudo famous people sitting next to each other, doesn’t mean we were bumping uglies! You know I don’t just do that with anyone! That’s just how the media works, as you can tell.”

And it’s a good thing, too. Dating Paris Hilton’s ex Lord knows what Katy would have caught.

One of the most reputable gossipy mags out there, People magazine, has apparently goofed up. In a recently article on Katy Perry, not only did they misquote her, they used words that singer didn’t even utter. The magazine said that in a recent Los Angles concert, Perry dissed ex boyfriend Travis and his band, Gym Class Heroes.

Before blogging about it on her official site, Perry asked the magazine to find proof that she said what she was accused of saying. When they couldn’t she went on the offensive, and rightfully so, blogging about it on her site.

“I would never be so tacky. I go great lengths to keep it about the music. I made a different random type of joke before I introduced my song, ur so gay. I never mentioned Travis or his lovely band, as they are all still friends of mine.

I don’t care if you make fun of me, my music, my zits, my cellulite or my bad choice of clothing… I really don’t. Just have some soul, and don’t LIE. I am not asking to be exempt from the media, I am just asking for some f-ing fact checking.”

Sigh. I love this girl!
