Surprise, surprise, Brooke Hogan is defending Daddy Dearest and taking offense to the backlash from his recent O.J. comments.

“I cannot believe how blown out of proportion one small part of a seven-page article has become. It’s a classic case of a quote being taken out of context. I look up to my father in every way. He has been through so much and has taken the high road through it all. The idea that he would condone the O.J. situation is just outrageous.”

Um, has she even read the quote? What’s outrageous is that she is actually sticking up for her Dad after he basically said he could have gone all O.J. on ex wife Linda.

But perhaps even more outrageous is that Brooke thinks any cares what she has to say.

In an attempt to make former wrestling star Hulk Hogan sound like he isn’t a complete douchebag, his PR people are working overtime. 

In a recent, the Hulkster actually empathized with O.J. Simpson, claiming that he can totally understand why OJ did it.  In a comment about ex wife Linda and their messy break-up Hulk said he “could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody’s throat”.

Classy Hulk, real classy.

In a bid to do some damage control, his reps issued the following statement:

“Hulk in no way condones the OJ situation. As part of a larger conversation, he referred to it to exemplify his frustration with his own situation.” 

Yeah, right.
