The word on the street is that good ole Courtney Love owes a heck of a lotta dough in back taxes.

An LA-issued tax lien revealed that Love owes a little less than $300K in taxes, going back to 2007.  Ooo, that ain’t  no good.

Love’s attorney stated, “Ms. Cobain has every intention of paying those taxes.”

Hrmmm, will CL ever grow up?

Everyone’s favorite train wreck, Courtney Love, is getting her ass sued off by designer Dawn Simorangkir.  The counts against Love are libel, invasion of privacy-false light, intentional interference with a prospective economic advantage, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and two breach of contract charges.  

Apparently Love has been blogging like crazy on her MySpace page and some of what she is saying about Simorangkir isn’t very nice.

According to Simorangkir, Love hired her to design some clothes, but then freaked out and refused to pay for a designer dress when presented with the bill.

So Love has been blogging about the designer on her MySpace page and through Twitter, spreading the hate by referring to Simorangkir as a “drug addict and dealer”. Oh and she also claims that Simorangkir will “end up in a circle of [s]corched earth hunted til your dead.”

Nice, eh?  In response to the lawsuit, Love once again blogged about it on her MySpace account.  I’d tell you about what she wrote, but damned if I can understand her.
