Ashlee made her debut Monday night in Chicago and both sisters sure have some talent!

Lip syncher Ashlee Simpson was spotted sporting some super tight black leggings as she was headed onto the set of NYC’s It’s On with Alexa Chung.

Simpson has been on a role lately with all kinds of shows, popping in earlier for a quickie on the Today Show as well as a spot on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tonight.

Well, I guess we really can’t get enough of tight black leggings, can we?

First of all, let me start by saying this: I have no issue with Jessica Simpson’s new figure. I still think she’s a beautiful, talentless singer despite the fact that she is a little heavier than in the past. In fact, I like this look better. Besides, who am I to judge her?

But I will judge her sister, Mrs. Pete Wentz, for blogging about the recent criticism big sis has come under for her weight. Ashlee has come out with guns a-blazing on her MySpace page in defense of Jessica.

“Since when did a woman’s weight become newsworthy… I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight. A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline on Fox News.”

“All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms. Just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard. Is this something you would say to your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or even a friend? I seriously doubt it.”

“How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure? Can we focus on things that really matter. – Ash

Yeah, let’s focus on the fact that Jessica can’t sing. Or act. Or think on her own for that matter. And kudos to Ashlee for wanting to help young girls love and respect themselves, instead of getting a nose job and letting the first hot guy that comes around knock them up. What a role model.
