Paula Abdul Channels Ellen DeGeneres

Thursday Paula Abdul surprised fans by channeling her inner Ellen DeGeneres on VH1′s Divas Live.

The ex American Idol judge dressed up, complete with blond bob wig, as replacement judge Ellen.

Doing a semi-similar job at playing Ellen, Paula said, “Why are you all staring at me? Can’t a girl try out for a new job?”

After a while Paula took a serious note, saying, “All kidding aside, [I have] nothing but love for Ellen, and I wish you the best of luck and congratulations on your new gig.

“And call me!” she added. “You gotta call me if you have any Simon problems, ’cause you know, I know him best.”

Oh, Paula, we just can’t help but kinda love you even if you are a bit ridiculous at times.
